Nothing could have been better!

The room on the top floor was modern and included a private bathroom, the staff was friendly, and the service here was outstanding, with convenient on-site parking available.

Loved the look of the place. Spacious and well appointed rooms, comfortable bed, large bathroom with excellent shower heads. One of the best hotels we had in New Zealand.

The staff is extremely friendly, hospitable. In addition to healthy and sensational breakfast, the great service is offered.

The folks here are super welcoming and friendly, including the person in charge. 🌟

Greated with a welcoming reception. Very informative and reasurring on the buildings damage. Comfortable beds, lovely and quite. Would be recommending to others and we will be back without hesitation.

Charming old-style hotel vibe, our studio suite had a lovely garden view. the dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, serving up really tasty dishes. Enjoyed the setup with a separate bedroom and a handy little kitchen area. 🌿

Merivale is close to the city center, park, and shopping. It offers a bed and breakfast type atmosphere, a very friendly and helpful staff/ownership, washer/dryer and closeness to Christchurch's main attractions.

Perhaps the mattress could have been more firm, other than that, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely well-maintained old manor house during our trip. the location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown and the village. Our host was fabulous, providing excellent service and helpful recommendations for exploring the area. the apartment size rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, equipped with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the cozy and quiet atmosphere despite being close to a busy road.

The necessary flights of stairs in the apartments may be challenging for some guests.

owners were very helpful and genuinely friendly, the room was described as a small studio which we found a perfect size and not too small atal! the decor was great, really comfortable
